To celebrate the freezing cold - oh - and the Festive Season, the growing team of Imaginers shut their Macs and hit London town.
Everyone was tingling with excitement… hmmm. OK - the girls were really excited as a heavy, female monopoly over the Christmas-do had taken place as happens in most offices.
Nonetheless, the veil of democracy was present in the selection process (as is often the case in all such dastardly matters). All Imagini members voted for their preferred day time and evening activity in the way Imagini members would:
Funny though, the daytime activity that won was actually ice-skating (?) followed by dinner and drinks at some snazzy place afterwards. Confusius Maximus reigned over the office for a while but with a gentle shrug of the shoulders, the ballot results were accepted. When D-Day came along, with bright blue skies and Arctic temperatures outside, gentle shrugs turned into furrowed brows, blood shot eyes and alarming reports of EVERY ice-skating event in history ending with missing fingers…
Particularly poignant was A.H’s comment in the cab: “I don’t get it. When I was interviewed to join the company, they asked me if I liked computers which I do. So why am I going ice-skating? Next year, I’m organising the Christmas do and I’m taking people up Tottenham Court Road to a computer fair.”
Of course, that’s just tough, merryless developer talk set to impress. Begin the Winter Wonderland and the mulled wine swift warmed the bones and molded pursed lips… The rest, we’ll do with images my friends… Have a fantastic holiday season and we’ll catch you next year!

Team? Where? Visuals? How Many on the Team? What Team… all I see is words about one. You lost me. Sorry, please use visuals or at least names to represent a core group of people who started this maybe? Otherwise it’s the “black hole” the unknown.
