Front-end Web Developer
A position is open for a talented front-end web developer to join our team of 8 software engineers combining web technology with entertainment, machine learning and data mining.
The role requires a committed and flexible professional to guide UI design and to implement web interfaces intended for the company’s own destination site and for high-profile partner sites.
You will be turning rich wireframes into browser-compatible code templates, co-ordinating asset generation and implementing front-end application logic. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creative user-centric insight.
Essential experience:
* 3+ years experience in front-end web development
* Demonstrable portfolio of front-end work
* Expert (X)HTML/CSS hand-coder
* Expertise in JavaScript & Ajax
* Capable in PHP 5 and understanding of OO principles
Useful experience:
* Experience with Flash & ActionScript
* Basic knowledge of (My)SQL
Qualifications required:
* Educated to University degree level

Junior Systems Administrator
In joining our team, you will be helping to maintain and expand a web platform that is designed for truly resilient and scalable hosting of multiple high-traffic sites. The successful candidate will be a determined self-starter, capable of rising to the challenge of a steep learning curve, and prepared to take on responsibility for the company’s technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Requirements
• Linux, ideally Ubuntu or Debian
• Apache webserver

Quality Assurance Analyst / Community Relationship Executive
We’re also looking for an avid person to quality test our destination site and to manage our worldwide community users. The perfect person needs to be interested in how a website works and enjoys writing — essential.
This diverse role involves extensive testing of our own destination site. You will be managing and understanding our worldwide users. We are looking for someone who can help us improve customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention. If you enjoy a challenge and want to be involved in something completely new, then get in touch.
The general job itself:
• to identify and prepare extensive site project test scenarios in preparation of release
• to raise, document and prioritise bugs; working closely with developers in resolving these bugs and producing these reports
• to become an expert of our products, understanding the strengths and weaknesses to continually improve their quality
• be first point of contact for our users, understanding their issues/feedback and responding in a clear and concise manner
• ensuring all user feedback are forwarded to the relevant department
• managing user feedback email boxes
We’d love if you possess the following:
• have confidence in writing as you’ll be the voice of Imagini/Youniverse to all our users
• an eye for detail, especially when testing the site for bugs
• have an understanding of how a website should feel to ensure quality user experience

Experience we’re looking for:
• quality assurance / website testing ideal
• strong examples of writing, i.e email etiquette / response
